Knowledge should be Processed into Quality output – Manohar Parrikar
Udupi: “Knowledge should be processed into quality output”, said Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar. He was addressing the gathering at the World GSB Convention an initiative of the GSB Samaj Hitharakashna Vedike held at the Basthi Padpu Maidan, Hejamadi on December 25.
Learning is limited to becoming literate while learning should lead to knowledge. Knowledge should be used for nation building and social development. Integrity should be imparted to students. The utilization of knowledge can be witnessed in Make in India initiative launched by the Central Government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the courage to execute his vision. He is a great visionary who has a vision to lead India. He has envisioned the growth for future years. We should strengthen his efforts.
The contribution for the soldier’s welfare fund is to command respect and not to demand respect. The GSB community’s contribution is rich towards society, and their contribution to the soldier’s welfare fund.
I have learnt to touch people’s hearts, and will continue to serve the society effectively. Many reforms are introduced in Goa which are widely appreciated. When Congress government was in the centre it had created many hurdles for the administration in Goa but the bold initiatives under the Modi led government has led to the development of Goa, he added.
