Konkani Drama Avoichi Dook (Pain of Mother) attracts Huge Crowd
Mangaluru: A Konkani drama written by Rev Fr Nelson Dalmeida, Avoichi Dook (Pain of Mother) was presented on 24th February, 2019 at 6.15 at St Joseph Seminary Ground, Jeppu- Mangaluru. This drama projected the love, sacrifice and pain of a mother. The religious priests and artists played very impressive roles in this drama.
Rev Fr Joseph Martis, Rector, St Joseph Seminary while addressing the crowd congratulated Fr Nelson, the writer of drama, for his great effort and he also appealed the crowd to ponder the love and sacrifice made by mothers and give them due respect and dignity. Rev Fr Clifford Fernandes, parish priest of Jeppu welcomed the gathering and Rev Fr Nelson Dalmeida, the writer of the drama introduced the artists.
A Large number of people attended the drama. Many expressed that the drama gave a powerful message regarding the responsibility of the children towards their parents, especially mothers.
