KPCC appoints Janardhan Thonse as Udupi Dist Congress Chief
Udupi: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress committee appointed Zilla Panchayat member and senior Congress leader Janardhan Thonse as president of Udupi district Congress committee.
With just a few months left for the Assembly elections in the State KPCC has appointed new presidents in many districts.
Recently Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president G Parameshwar met Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi and held a meeting with him. They had discussed on the appointment of the party’s district presidents.
Janardhan Thonse is serving as the ZP member for the second term, earlier he was the president of Urban Development Authority.
