Udupi: One of the most powerful Temple Sri Krishna Math has adopted the new water recycling technology for its Temple Lake Madhwa Sarovar.
The Symbolic inauguration of the new technology was made by Paryaya Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math along with Junior Swamiji Sri Vishwa Prasanna Theertha.
The water of Madhwa Sarovar lake of Sri Krishna Math is filtered using filtration system designed by Joshi Agro Industries. 50,000 liters of water in Madhwa Sarovar has been filtered using this filtration system.
Praveen Joshi, Managing director of Joshi Agro Industries, Pune has developed the water filtering system. Hydro cyclone technology, sand filter technology and disk filter technology is used for the filtering process. 100 micron particles are filtered by cyclone technology, 120 micron particles are filtered by the disk filter technology. Joshi Agro Industries have donated the filtering machine worth Rs 2 lakh to Sri Krishna Math to clean the water of Madhwa Sarovar. The machine is capable of filtering 50,000 liters of water per hour. The life cycle of the machine is 10 years.
Sri Vishwa Prasanna Teertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math said that the filtration system will clean the water of Madhwa Sarovar, which will help the fish in the lake.
Sri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji said Madhwa Sarovar has divine importance and cleaning the water of the lake will facilitate divine needs of the temple and devotees.
