KRV Leader Santhosh Shetty Arrested for Allegedly Misbehaving with Woman
Udupi: The Shirva Police have arrested a Kannada Outfit leader on charges of misbehaving with a married woman at Panjimar here on July 14.
The arrested has been identified as Santhosh Shetty, a resident of Panjimar. He was closely associated with the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Udupi.
According to sources the woman, Suma (name Changed) was running a Fancy store in Panjimar near Shirva. Santhosh Shetty allegedly befriended Suma and started to express his desire in her even though she was married. For many days he was sending vulgar messages and was forcing her to have a physical relationship. The woman asked the accused not to send her vulgar messages but he did not pay heed to her request. She then informed her husband about it.
On Saturday, July 14, he again rang up and asked her to come to the lodge. The woman then decided to trap him. She informed her husband and also asked Santhosh to pick her from the fancy store. At the same time, she filed a complaint with the Shirva Police. On July 14, evening when he came to the fancy store to pick her up, he was caught by her husband and the locals and handed over to the police.
A case has been registered in the Shirva Police Station.
