KRV Leader Santhosh Shetty remanded to Judicial Custody till July 28
Udupi: The honorary president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Santhosh Shetty has been remanded judicial custody until July 28, for misbehaving with a woman and sending her vulgar messages.
Santhosh (44) was arrested by the Shirva police on July 14.
According to sources, a woman who was running a fancy store in Panjimar was getting vulgar messages from Santhosh Shetty. He had even expressed his desire of having a physical relationship with her. The woman without knowing what to do tolerated the harassment for some time. But when Santhosh called her to the lodge, the woman informed her husband. Setting a trap, she asked Santhosh to come to her Fancy store to pick her up. When Santhosh came to the shop, he was caught and the police were informed. Later the police took him into custody.
Santhosh was produced before the magistrate, where he was remanded Judicial custody till July 28. Santhosh has been lodged in the DK district Sub jail.
