KSC Bahrain Holds Christmas Get-together
Bahrain: The Karnataka Social Club organized Christmas Dance and the Christmas Tree at the Baan Saeng Thai auditorium recently. The programme began with the Christmas carols by the club members.
Musical accompaniment was provided by Sydney Correa on the guitar and Orville Sequeira on the keyboard.
The entry of the much-awaited Santas drew the tiny tots into a frenzy as they picked the chocolates that were generously sprayed all over the floor. The Santas took turns in distributing the Christmas gifts to all the young ones.
The live band “Expats” then belted out their favourite old classics to the delight of an appreciative audience. A prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the Annual competitions followed by the dance session.
A birthday bash for children was held for those who celebrated their birthdays in the last quarter of the year. Children who had registered earlier were awarded an additional gift from the club. The band then took over the stage playing the favourite line-dancing tracks as well as the favourite baila tune.
