KSCC helps repatriate body of Gopal Krishna Desai to His hometown
UAE: Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club, Dubai extended its helping hand to repatriate the body of Gopal Krishna Desai to his hometown. He died due to cardiac arrest in Dubai while he was travelling from the USA to India after visiting his daughter.
Desai (69), was an advocate by profession. He hailed from Sindagi, Karnataka state India, he was a proud son of Freedom fighter Late Narayan Rao.
On October 5, 2016, it was an unexpected journey for him and his wife Sudhabai Desai from the USA to India via Dubai, During the landing in Dubai, Desai suffered a massive heart attack and died.
A well-wisher of Desai contacted KSCC requesting for help to complete the related formalities and repatriate the body of Desai. KSCC members swiftly responded and completed all the procedures within a short time and the body was sent to his home town Sindagi via Hyderabad.
Gopal Krishna Desai was a highly dignified and much-respected person in his native place. He was an attorney in Sindagi, he is survived by wife Sudhabai Desai, son Girish Desai, and daughter Jayadevi Desai.
