KSCC holds Blood Donation Camp

UAE: Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) organised a Blood Donation Drive recently outside the Union Metro Station, Deira, Dubai in association with Dubai Health Authority and Community Development Authority Government of Dubai.

Mohammad Ismail, Vice President of KSCC, inaugurated the camp. Addressing the gathering Mohammad highlighted and briefed on the Blood Donation camp. He said that the vision of the club is to develop the Expatriates into a well-nourished section of the society in Sports, Cultural and Social activities. He also appreciated the Community Development Authority for their continuous support and cooperation. He also added that CDA and DHA appreciating their social service had given them a certificate of appreciation. He took the opportunity to enlighten the donors and the gathering the benefits of donating blood.

Chief Guest for the blood donation drive was Abdul Rahiman, Manager of NAIF Medical centre and Dr Sathyajit Rajeevan, General Practitioner in Naif Medical Centre. Dr Sathyajit Rajeevan also addressed the gathering sharing useful information on the benefits of donating Blood.

Around 80 people participated in the drive and donated blood to save lives. KSCC presented blood donors with gifts of appreciation. The event started at 8:00 am in the morning and ended at 1.00 pm. People were happy to participate and donate blood.

Mohammad Faraz hosted the ceremony and concluded by thanking the Dubai Health Authority, Community Development Authority, Government of Dubai for their association in holding the blood donation drive. He also thanked the sponsors, all the supporters and volunteers for the success of the drive.
