Born on 1 May 2000 to (Late) Umesh Devadiga, a entrepreneur, and Mrs Sharmila Devadiga, a home-maker, Soundarya did her early schooling at Delhi public school , MRPL Mangaluru, and currently she is pursuing her B BA studies at Besant Women’s College , Mangaluru. She has a younger brother, Vinith Devadiga, who is doing his PCMB (2nd PU) at Mahesh College Mangaluru. Her hobbies include Traveling, Hiking, Dancing, Drawing, Acting, among many other fun activities. While aspiring to be a Real Actor who can bring soul to the words scripted by the director, Soundarya says, ” Beauty with acting skills is a match made in heaven and is today required in the world of entertainment. The life of a model is never easy. I am ready to toil. I whole-heartedly wish to begin my journey from the home and hearth, the soil of my birth”

Q: How does it feel winning back to back titles like ‘Miss Devadiga 2020’, ‘Miss Tangled 2020’, ‘Miss Dimple 2020’ & ‘Face of Heaven Rose 2020’? What was your reaction after winning these Titles?
I was very happy and felt as if I’m on the top of the world. Though I never dream’t that I will get back to back titles.
Q:How did entering into such beauty contests happen?
Through online I saw a post where they were looking for a young and fresh face. I applied and by the grace of God I got selected, and my journey started…
Q: How were you different from the other contestants? What made you unique?
From Day one I was very confident about myself and my looks , and I worked on that.
Q: Winning all these titles in 2020, do you have any ideas for a change in your career for the future?
I’m very confident and I want to explore every aspect of glam our World. And I think that destiny has something great in store for me.
Q: What do you think would be the three qualities that every woman should have?
A Woman should have faith in whatever work she does. She should believe in herself and the task she undertakes. And Last but not the least Hard work is the key to success .
Q: What is your style inspiration? What is your favorite item in your closet?
I follow a few stylists and designers and I get inspired by the collections and today’s latest trends. Mom’s wedding Sari I wish I wear this one day during mine .
Q: Who is your latest celebrity guy crush and girl crush?
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and actress Ms Deepika Padukone.
Q: What is your favorite social media platform to use and why?
Insta, because I got Name and Fame. People started recognizing me.
Q: What is your mother saying about your success in these contests?
She has no words to describe my success, because she knew that I always wanted to be a Model.
Q: How would you define your personal style? What do you see when you look in the mirror?
Through clothings , The dress I wear and the way I carry it off. I think my Smile and my eyes are my USP.
Q: From where you stand right now how does life look ?
I think my future is very bright and clear. I just have to strike the right chord.
Q: What would be your greatest achievement that will make you feel your life was a huge success ?
When my family will feel proud about me and when my Dad’s dream of me becoming a successful Model comes true, that will be my huge success.
Q: Okay, later in the years in case if you were to choose from films and modeling, what would you choose?
Right now my focus is on Modelling . But in future if I get good offers I may shift my focus on films.
Q :If you could high-five anyone in the world who would it be and why?
My Brother, because he is the one for whom I want to give a decent life.
Q: What do you admire the most in a man ? When the right time comes to choose your life partner, what kind of man would you prefer?
He should be a down to earth person with a great sense of humour, tall and handsome, and he should respect my work and above all, support me.
Q: Being a beautiful young lady yourself, who would you consider as the most beautiful woman, and why?
My Mom , because of her I’m here.
