Kudligi MLA Nagendra will soon join Cong says D K Shivakumar
Hosapete: Energy Minister D K Shivakumar said that the Kudligi MLA B Nagendra would join the Congress soon.
The minister who spoke to the media, was in Hospet to supervise the preparations for the Congress rally being held there on February 10 in which many Congress national leaders including AICC President Rahul Gandhi might participate.
Shivakumar said that there were other former and sitting MLAs who had expressed their intentions to join the Congress.
He said that no promises of giving tickets for contesting the elections had been made to any new joinee; including the seven JD(S) rebel MLAs who joined Congress recently.
“They are all joining our party unconditionally. There is no certainty that tickets will be given to them. They will work to strengthen the party,” he added.
