Kundapur: The Block Education officer (BEO) H Shobha Shetty (45), filed a complaint against the Headmistress of Badakere Government Higher Primary School Hangaluru, Kurshida Begum for misusing the school development funds at the Kundapur police station here on July 10.
The complainant BEO Shobha Shetty in her complaint alleged that, Kurshida Begum has misused Rs 4,39,597/- which was collected from the donors for the development work of the school.
Kurshida was serving as the Headmistress from April 10, 2006 to March 20, 2014. During her tenure she did not follow the government rules for using the school funds.
On July 10, BEO Shobha Shetty filed a complaint against Kurshida at the Kundapur police station. A case has been registered against Kurshida under section 409 IPC.
