Kundapur Congress candidate Malli meets and seeks blessings of Udupi Bishop and Kashi Swamiji
Udupi: Congress candidate from Kundpaur Constituency Rakesh Malli, on April 19, Thursday met the Bishop of Udupi Diocese Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo and Kashi Matadeesh Shri Samyamindra Theertha Swamiji and sought their blessings before filing his nominations for the upcoming Assembly elections slated to be held on May 12.
Rakesh Malli first visited Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo at the Bishop’s House Udupi and sought his blessings. The bishop speaking said that he would pray to God to bless the good government of the state.
Later Malli visited Chempi Laxmi Venkataramana Temple where the Kashi Matadeesh Shri Samyamindra Theertha Swamiji stayed for the Vasanthosava and sought his blessings. Swamiji blessed Malli with Prasadam.
AICC member Amrith Shenoy and Rajeev Gandhi Panchayat Raj Sangatane district co-ordinator Roshni Oliver were also present during the visit.
