Kundapur Police Arrest 2 Ganja Peddlers, 1.1 kg Ganja Seized
Kundapur: The Kundapur police arrested two persons on charges of selling ganja and seized 1.105 kg of ganja on August 23.
The arrested have been identified as Ganesh (20) a resident of Kumbhasi and Gautham alias Buddha (25) a resident of Uppinkudru.
Acting on a tip-off, the Kundapur PSI Harish R arrested two persons near Vakwadi who were waiting in a two-wheeler to sell ganja to the public. The police seized 1.105 kg ganja worth Rs 33,000, cash Rs 1,880, Two mobile phones worth Rs 12,000 and a motorbike worth Rs 8,000 from their possession.
Under the direction of Vishnuvardhan SP Udupi, Kumarchandra Additional SP Udupi, the operation was carried out by the ASP of Kundapur Hariram Shanker, Gopikrishna CPI Kundapur, the team led by Harish R Nayak including ASI Ananada, Sudhakar, Manjunath, Santhosh Kumar, Chandrashekar Shetty, Avinash, Harish, Raghavendra, Vijay, Prasanna, Veerappa, Ravi, Gokul, Shantharam, Sachin Shetty, Raghavendra Mogera, Rama Poojary, Shanker, Arun Kumar, and Santhosh Shetty.
