Kundapur: Police detained VHP, Bajrang Dal and BJP activists who were demonstrating with black flags and shouting slogans against the state government for celebrating Tipu Sultan’s birth anniversary here, on November 10.
The Kundapur Taluk Administration organised the Tipu Birth Anniversary celebration at the Taluk Panchayat auditorium. When the inauguration was being held, protesters shouted slogans against the state government and waved black flags.
