Kuwait: Hundreds of devotes gathered at St Therese of Child Jesus Church Salmiya on Saturday April 4 to observe Easter Vigil on the eve of Easter Sunday along with visiting Priests from Mangaluru Fr Sunil Dominic Lobo OFM Cap. and Fr Sunil Monis OCD.
The candle light ceremonies included the blessing of the Pascal candle and blessing of fire and holy water. In his homily, Fr Sunil said that, our God is a living God and requested all the gathered to be firm in their faith. Psalms and melodious hymns were sung by the Konkani Choir led by Kiran Gonsalves.
Parish Priest Fr Blany Pinto thanked the visiting priest Fr Sunil Dominic Lobo for his month long service in conducting retreats in Kuwait as well as helping the faithful in nourishing their faith. He also thanked all those who supported and helped throughout the Lenten season especially during the holy week.
