Kuwait : ‘Rendezvous 2019’ a sold out and a very successful event
Kuwait: Rendezvous-2019, the hallmark event of Kuwait Chapter of the St. Aloysius College Alumni Association (SACAA KUWAIT ) was held on 16th May 2019, Thursday at Rajdhani Palace, Khaitan, Kuwait wherein a large number of Alumni and friends and well-wishers reunited to celebrate their bond.
Rendezvous is an event where Alumni and well-wishers of St Aloysius College come together to celebrate the unique bonding that they share through their college. In addition, there is always the underlying focus on catering to the needs of the underprivileged students and society and this years focus was on supporting with the school fees of the less privileged students of the Pushpa Boarding Home and St. Francis Xavier Boarding House, Shimoga, India.
The event commenced with Soul Stirrers performing a ballroom set. Kiran Sunny, President of SACAA Kuwait welcomed the gathering. To add further flavour to the celebration, Alumini Band joined together with Jason Dsouza on the vocals and Rocky on the drums and we had Party Rockers (DJ Kiran and DJ Sujay). Both Bands and the DJs played some fabulous music ranging across all genres thereby keeping almost everyone on their feet all through the event. The packed dance floor definitely proved that a mix of fun and social responsibility can be really balanced very well.
During the course of the programme, the SACAA Rendezvous King and Queen Contest was held. Throughout the session, fantastic spot prizes kept the entire crowd guessing and waiting for more surprises and prizes. Jaison Lasrado compered the programme and kept the audience completely tuned in throughout the course of the evening.
A sumptuous buffet and a great round of music brought the curtains down on an evening of fun and frolic, leaving the guests yearning for more. SACAA executive committee thanks the Co-Sponsors KMMC and SB Consulting and also all the individual sponsors, guests and well wishers who contributed and made this event a memorable one.
