Kuwait: ‘Stop the Rule, Lift the Ban on Hijab Wearing by Minority Communities’- IKFS

Kuwait: Indo – Kuwait Friendship Society (IKFS) deplores the decision to ban wearing “Hijab” (Head scarf) by Indian Supreme Court, and IKFS considers Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) is accelerating hate campaign against Minorities in India. We should find an alternative body for educational reforms while substituting authority of CBSE. Because CBSE is just an educational body of India since India’s independence and not the hate campaigner.

Indian constitution clearly states that any Indian citizen has the right to wear what he or she wants and w are astonished to see the authority of CBSE has started hate campaign against minority as if they act as a body for an hard-line political party. Let CBSE not dictate and interfere with the jobs of Indian Security forces. Their job is to detect through “Frisking Metal Detectors or not” which may interpreted as anything harmful to the Humanity. We don’t think that wearing Hijab is harming communal harmony.

Rape and violence against women are a massive problem in India. IKFS reiterated in their letter about the necessity of reducing the rape cases in India which alarmingly is much high comparing to various Asian countries. “We don’t want our beloved Motherland India as the Rape Capital of the World? So wearing Hijab and Parda by girls will reduce the big problem”, as commented by Dr Ghalib Al-Mashoor, IKFS President.

Minority in India consist of about 25% both Christian and Islamic Religion mandate that both Christian (Nuns) and Muslims wear Hijabs (Head scarf) and to wear Head to Feet full sleeve dresses for not attracting men in order to avoid violent situations such as rape and blackmailing especially while appearing in public. IKFS has sent a letter to CBSE Chairman, Chief Justice of India, President of India and Indian Muslim Personal Board for their immediate intervention and to lift such ban or order of stopping interference in the rights of a citizen as dictated in the Indian Secular constitution.

Do you think that the dress code which is insisted by CBSE to wear clothes with half sleeves shirt is perfect while showing Girls’ perfect hair styles? Of course, No!!!. You are talking about the teenage girls of 17 and 18 year old. Men in public can easily monitor both her Hair and Armpit with half sleeve. Therefore, teenage girls should wear dress which is acceptable to non-nuisance and non-violence.

Therefore, IKFS cannot understand rulings of imposing a dress code on students while Supreme Court has remained quiet in big cases such as Hard line groups’ attempt against Minority community (Muslims and Christians) to convert to Hinduism at mass camps? Therefore, IKFS hereby requests to stop such rulings and lift banning of Hijabs wearing by minority communities.

Original, we are talking about the Indian Constitution not Kuwait’s Constitution. These people are perhaps Indian citizens living in Kuwait. We are not challenging Kuwait’s constitution, rather Indian constitution. Got it?

Lawrence – As usual, your religious bigotry has blinded you from seeing the reality. These people are not the biggest fans of our constitution. They want sharia. They might fool you, not me. Look at the reasons they cited for wearing head scarf. In their imaginary world, rapes can be stopped by covering your hair and not showing your armpit!! Oh god! You think they will support free speech and individual freedom? Give me a break!

In their imaginary world, rapes can be stopped by covering your hair and not showing your armpit!! -Atheist Mr.Original pai Sir,The hijab is often displayed in the media as an object of oppression towards Muslim women; this stereotype is the base foundation for many misconceptions within the media and society. Misconceptions such as Muslim women being limited or backwards. But these statements are false; Hijab does not hinder women from attaining what they want. At times media portrays the hijab as something that suppresses the Muslim women but the hijab through the understanding of Islam is a commandment by God.… Read more »

Shaken Shake, “They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary.[Quran 24:31]” Well it shows that the civilization was still in development stage. But Why the creator must take so much trouble to such minor things in a religious book .. any one will wonder. “They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies.”-(24:31) Again– Well it shows that the civilization was still in development stage. But Why the creator must take so much trouble to such minor things in a religious book ..… Read more »

If a woman is raped she needs to produce 4 witness to this effect why this ? So she must foresee the rape and keep witness beforehand to fight the case?

I know you will jump and try to blame other religions instead of answering to this!!!
