Lady Goschen to Shut All services from June 30 to July 5 for Fumigation
Mangaluru: “All departments in the Government Lady Goschen Hospital will be closed for sanitization and fumigation from June 30 to July 5 as most of the doctors and the hospital staffs will be under quarantine”, stated the Medical Superintendent of Lady Goschen Hospital in a press release on June 29.
In the press release, it is stated that doctors and the hospital staff are under quarantine and the hospital will be sanitized and disinfected. For the safety of the patients and those visiting the hospital, the authorities have decided to stop the outpatient and in-patient services from June 30 to July 5. “
The press release also stated that patients would be treated under the Ab-Ark scheme in private hospitals. They will be given referral cards from the Lady Goschen hospital. The hospital will open from July 6 for regular services. The public is requested to cooperate and those who are in urgent need of the hospital service should contact the Nodal officer of Ab-Ark.
