Lakshmi Ganesh Transferred, Vinay Gaonkar New DCP Crime and Traffic
Mangaluru: The DCP of Crime and Traffic Lakshmi Ganesh has been transferred to Bengaluru, and Vinay Goanker has been appointed as the new DCP of Crime and Traffic to the Mangalore commissionerate here on August 7.
Eight IPS and non IPS police officers from the State Police department including DCP Lakshmi Ganesh, have been transferred on August 7. DCP Lakshmi Ganesh has been transferred to Bengaluru Rural district as Additional SP.
On August 7, the state government has issued an order and appointed Vinay Gaonkar as the new DCP crime and traffic for Mangalore commissionerate.

I have known Mr Laxmi Ganesh as one of the good officers in The Police Department. From available reports, it is said the new officer Mr Vinay Gaunker has a good background.

Mr Lakshim Ganesh is a excellent DCP and I feel vey sad to know that He is going to Bangalore. He must have accidentaly stepped on some Politician’s Toe.
