Landslide at Banglegudde, Compensation of Rs 5 Lakh each Handed Over to Deceased Families

Mangaluru: In a tragic incident two children were buried under the debris in a landslide at Banglegudde, Gurupur on July 5.

On July 5, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa instructed the deputy commissioner to hand over a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of Safwan and Sahala.

On July 6, the district minister in-charge Kota Srinivas Poojary, along with the deputy commissioner Sindhu Rupesh, MLA of Moodbidri Umanath Kotian visited the families in Banglegudde and handed over the cheques of Rs 5 lakh each to the family members of Safwan and Sahala.
