Laxmi Prasad appointed SP of ANF Karkala
Udupi: The Government on Saturday January 20 issued transfer orders of IPS officers.
Laxmi Prasad BM Superintendent of Police Vijayapura District, has been posted with immediate effect and until further orders as Superintendent of Police Anti Naxal Force, Karkala Udupi District.
The post of Superintendent of Police, Anti Naxal Force, Karkala Udupi district has been declared equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of Assistant Inspector General of Police Crimes, Bengaluru under rule 12 of IPS Rules 2016 as included in schedule II of the said rules.
Laxmi Prasad BM, a 2014-batch IPS officer has done his engineering degree and has bagged the 151st rank in the UPSC exam in the second attempt.
