Let DVS stop shedding Crocodile Tears on Sharath’s Death – JD(S)

Mangaluru: “The Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda visited the RSS worker Sharath’s house and met his father. After meeting Sharath’s father DVS was shedding crocodile tears and saying he cannot see Sharath’s father suffering. If DVS would have visited earlier when there were similar killings in the district, such a day would not have come. Sharath would have been saved, now DVS should think of taking action against those who are involved in the murder instead of shedding crocodile tears”, said the State General Secretary of JD(S) Bojegowda, in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on July 10.

Addressing the mediapersons Bojegowda said, “For political gain, the BJP and Congress are encouraging Communal disturbances in the district. When the Chief Minister visited Mangaluru, he did not hold any peace meetings. Nor did the Chief Minister discuss the current situation with the district administration or the police department. If the District Minister In-charge feels ashamed to organise peace meetings he could have asked some senior ministers to do it.”

Bojegowda further said, “In Bantwal and Kalladka there is no peace and harmony, but fear among the people including the women, children and students. In such a situation Shobha Karandlaje should not give inciting statements instead, she should try to bring peace in Bantwal and Kalladka”.

Bojegowda also said, “BJP is playing politics in the slaughter of Cows. In the name of cow slaughter, self-proclaimed Gau Rakshaks are killing human beings. Let each Gau Rakshak rear one cow in their house and see how difficult it is, only then let they stop cow slaughtering.”

Amarnath Shetty, Vittle Mohammed Kunhi, Yogish Shetty, M B Sadashiv, Aziz Kudroli, Akshith Suvarna, Rameeza Nasir and others were also present.
