LeT terrorists enter Tamil Nadu through Sri Lanka – CSP Udupi issues Hi alert Notice
Udupi: An alert has been issued by the Malpe security police after a group of six Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists entered Tamil Nadu through Sri Lanka.
The Malpe Coastal Security police have issued lookout notice to the suspected terrorists. The police have posted a poster with the photograph of suspected terrorists at the Malpe Harobor, Malpe Beach, Padukere, Kemmannu Hoode and other public places and asked the public to give information about them.
Speaking to Mangalorean.com DySP Coastal Security police said that based on this alert notice from the Home Ministry, forces have been increased for patrolling and necessary precautions have been put in place.
As per the instructions, the police are conducting storming operations in lodges, checking vehicles for explosives and arms, patroling and checking has been intensified, guards at sensitive/critical installations, looking out for miscreants, Preventive arrests of bad characters, Checking at railway stations, bus stands and harbors, Checking in temples etc, he said.
