Letter with Forged Signature to Reduce Kadri Temple loudspeaker Volume Lands Blany D’Souza in Soup
Mangaluru: A case has been filed against Blany D’Souza for allegedly forging the signature in an objection letter to the district administration and the Muzrai department for sound pollution from Kadri Manjunatha Temple.
Blany D’Souza had written a request letter to the Muzrai Department to ban loudspeakers in the Temple since it was affecting his health, he had also collected signatures from his neighbourhood. Considering Blany D’Souza’s request, the Muzrai department ordered the Temple authorities to reduce the loudspeaker volume.
Angered by the action of the Muzrai department some Hindu organizations warned of holding protests if the district administration took action against the Temple.
In this connection, Varadaraj Baliga filed a complaint against Blany D’Souza in the Kadri Police station for forging his signature in the request letter to the Muzrai department.
Some Hindu organizations also alleged that the Mosques use loudspeakers throughout the year without any objection from anyone. Why has only the Temple been targetted to reduce the volume of the loudspeakers?
The Kadri police have filed a complaint against Blany D’Souza.
