Lifeguards Save Two Youth from Drowning in Kaup Beach
Udupi: Lifeguards present at Kaup Beach rescued two youth from drowning in the Arabian Sea, on Friday, November 17.
Yathish Baikampady, CEO, Beach Tourism Development Project, said that Tukaram (29) son Dyamappa and Bangaramma and Santhosh (29) son Muniyappa and Yashoda both residents of Jog Road, Sagar had come to Kaup Beach on tour. Both of them neglected the warning signboards at the beach and ventured into the sea As both of them did not have experience of swimming, the duo started to drown and shouted for help.
Lifeguards who were present at the beach rushed to their rescue and brought them ashore.
