Liquor worth Rs 1.5 lakh Stolen from Bar at Hangarcutta
Udupi: Unidentified persons stole Rs 1.5 lakh worth liquor bottles from Chakravarthi Bar at Hangarcutta under the Kota Police station limits on April 23.
According to the police, thieves entered the bar through the roof. On Thursday, April 23, locals found the roof tiles in the rear side of the bar removed and alerted the bar owner and the Kota police. Thieves made away with three boxes containing 44.250 litres of beer and 31 boxes containing 266.735 litres of other liquor.
Kota Police and the Excise officials reached the spot and after examination have registered a case.
