Local Youths Rescue Man from Committing Suicide at Panemangaluru
Mangaluru: The locals rescued a man who had jumped into the Netravati River with the intention of committing suicide at Panemangaluru here on September 1.
Laxman Das from Panemangaluru attempted to commit suicide by jumping into the Netravati River.
According to the police, on September 1, when the local youth saw a man jump into the Netravati River, they immediately rushed to help and saved him.
Later the youth took Laxman to the local police station and handed him over to the police.
Laxman’s family was informed about the incident. The family members arrived and took Laxman home with them.
