In Loving Memory of Jenisha and Venisha
Romans 14:8
If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
Twin daughters of Janet and Valerian of Belman, Kajanadka Grandchildren of Henry and Theresa Pinto Born on July 17, 2000.
The little angels are no more with us. Venisha, the younger twin passed away on 1st April and Jenisha passed away on 22nd August. Jenisha just completed 16 years a month ago and Venisha passed away 3 months before she completed her 16th year.
The day these two beautiful children entered this world they brought immense joy to their parents and the rest of the family. Both sisters were loving and down to earth. Their beautiful smile made everyone around them happy. They lived a normal life until they were 30 months which is when they were diagnosed with Thalassemia. Thalassemia is a genetic blood disorder in which the body doesn’t make enough haemoglobin, which in turn causes severe anaemia accompanied with lifelong treatments and medications.
By God’s grace and their loved ones’ prayers, they got better and continued to thrive and live the next few short years though with constant medical treatment. No one imagined that they would leave so suddenly and leave their parents childless. God has his own plans and we will never understand if it is destiny or bad luck. We just have to accept it as His will.
Venisha was hospitalised a couple of days before her death for breathlessness and breathed her last on 1st April, in the presence of her older sister Jenisha, her mom Janet, and grandmother Theresa. All of Belman was shocked by her untimely demise, and only 4 short months later, on 22nd August, Jenisha was to suffer a similar fate.
Cousin Janet and Valerian, please accept my heartfelt condolences on behalf of all family and friends. You both were chosen for this tough task by God Almighty. Please let us thank and praise God for giving you enough strength and courage to be able to take care of your babies in the best possible way you could. It is not going to be easy to live without both of them but please accept God’s will by consoling yourselves that God called them before they could suffer more. Have faith that they are with our Lord and are happy and safe. Don’t feel sad wondering why they were brought into your lives, but be happy that we all were able to know them and create beautiful memories with them because they were born.
Our prayers are with you both today as you mourn the loss of your children. Also, we pray for the souls of Jenisha and Venisha. God gives heavy crosses to those whom he loves the most but at the same time, he gives us enough strength to bear those crosses. He will never give us more than we can bear. We can only imagine what you are going through but please have faith that God had better plans for your children.
As Christians, we believe in life after death and the resurrection of the body. This life on earth is temporary and is a mere preparation for Eternal life. Your babies have gone ahead to prepare a place for you in the heavenly kingdom. They are surrounded by angels, saints, Jesus, Mary and our Creator. They have been relieved of all worldly pain and sorrow of this temporary life and now are enjoying a painless and sorrowless life in heaven above. Your two angels, though invisible to our eyes now, will always be present with you as your guardian angels.
My dear Theresa aunty – loving grandmother of Jenisha and Venisha – I still remember how happy you were when both were born. You were very proud when you introduced them to me. Your joy was unlimited when you told me Janet has twins. They both were undoubtedly a piece of your heart. Though life will be difficult without them, but we can pray and have faith that they are in a better place now where there is no pain and suffering. You were the best grandmother they could ever have. You too were chosen for this difficult task, aunty. Without your help and moral support as mother and grandmother, Janet and Valerian couldn’t have come this far.
Janet, Valerian, Theresa aunty and all the near and dear ones of Pinto and Fernandes family, please offer all your pain and sorrow to the Lord, our creator and creator of heaven and earth.
Rest in peace, dear Jenisha and Venisha

Nice Article dear Jessie.. Its really heart breaking but we are all helpless in front of our Lord Almighty’s wish. He always choosing the best one to his Kingdom. May these Angel’s Souls rest in peace and may the Almighty grant the needed strength and courage to their parents, grand parents to sustain this irrepairable loss.
Thanks for your comment Flora. …I hope everyone’s prayers and support will make the parents and all their loved ones strong and energetic. May God bless them and all of us.
RIP little Angels.
