Lucky escape for 14 passengers as Tempo Traveller Rolls over on Bridge
Udupi: Around 14 passengers miraculously escaped on the Nayamapalli Bridge near KG Road Santhekatte when the tempo traveller they were travelling met with an accident on Wednesday, July 19.
According to the sources the tempo traveller on its way to Kundapur from Puttur of DK district. The road had become slippery due to heavy rain since two days. When the driver applied hard brakes to avoid ramming into a vehicle in front of him, he lost control of the vehicle resulting in the vehicle rolling over.
Traffic came to a halt for some time on the busy bridge, the traffic Police visited the spot and cleared the traffic.
