Make use of government schemes – Ivan D’Souza
Udupi: The Chief Minister’s parliamentary secretary and also MLC Ivan D’Souza urged the people to make use of the several schemes introduced by the State government for their upliftment.
The state government has introduced various schemes for the people of various communities. The government is providing pension schemes for widows, the aged and the transgender community. Thes state government is committed to the welfare of all communities including minorities and others.
The Jana Samparka acts as a platform for the people to air their grievances before the officials in the presence of their representatives. Such programmes should be organised at least once a month to find a solution to the problems of the people. Officials have been urged to organise revenue and pension Adalats in each taluk headquarters every month, he added.
Ivan D’Souza handed over the order copies to the beneficiaries under various social security schemes on the occasion.
Kundapur Assistant commissioner Dr Madhukeshwar, Udupi Thashildar Pradeep Kurdekar, district minority officer Lamani, TP member Dr Sunitha Shetty, former Taluk Panchayat president Veronica Cornelio, ICU president Sunil Cabral, honorary president Ronald Karkada, vice president Melwin D’Souza, Secretary Steven Colaco, PRO Dion D’Souza and others were present.
