Man Asks for Forgiveness with Koragajja Swami for Derogatory Remarks

Mangaluru: 45-year-old Manoj Pandit from Sirsi had posted a derogatory comment on Koragajja in facebook page in the month of September. In this connection, a case was filed by the president of Hindu Samrakshana Samiti K R Shetty with DCP Law and Order Hanumantharaya. On November 5, Manoj came to Mangaluru and asked forgiveness with Koragajja for his derogatory remarks.

Speaking to mangalorean.com Shri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Vajradehi Math Gurupura said, “One-and-half month ago, Manoj Pandit had posted a derogatory comment on his Facebook page. Hindu Samrakshana Samiti president K R Shetty who is an ardent devotee of Koragajja Swami, after reading the comment was hurt, he approached the DCP Law and Order Hanumantharaya and filed a complaint against Manoj. After registering the complaint under cybercrime, teams were formed to nab the culprit. Accordingly, the cyber crime police reached Sirsi and arrested Manoj three weeks ago and informed the Samiti members. Manoj apologised and said that he did not know about Koragajja Swami and had unknowingly posted the comment on Facebook. But we the Samiti members were not ready to withdraw the case.”

Shri Rajashekharananda Swamiji further said, “Manoj was later released on bail and soon his family members faced severe health issues. Manoj said that he was ready to come to Mangaluru and apologise to the Samiti members who had filed a complaint against him. Accordingly, Manoj came to Padavinangadi on November 5, met the Samiti president K R Shetty and other members and apologised. Manoj also said that without knowing about Koragajja Swami he had posted the comment, The Samiti then decided that the person who had posted derogatory comments on Koragajja should be forgiven for his mistake which was done unknowingly and decided to withdraw the complaint.”

Hindu Samrakshana Samiti president K R Shetty, Ganesh Kulal Kedila, Shruthin Shetty Kedila, Prashanth Gurupur, Ganesh Attavar and Sashank Acharya were also present.

I am really really ashamed of what’s going on in our own district in year 2017. This society has no future.
