Man Detained for Entering MIA Terminal Building using Fake E-ticket
Mangaluru: A man from Kerala was detained by the CISF personnel for entering the terminal building using a fake E-ticket at the Mangalore International Airport here on 14 September 14 at 11:45 pm.
The man has been identified as Arif Kothikka, from Kasargod, Kerala. He was detained by the CISF personnel at the Departure gate while proceeding to exit the Terminal Building.
While questioning it was revealed that he had entered the terminal building showing fabricated E-ticket of Spice Jet Flight SG 59 to Dubai, departure at 00.54 dated September 15. Four of his family members were traveling on the same flight.
After seeing off his family members, when Arif tried to exit the airport, he was stopped by the CISF and his travel documents were checked. Arif had manipulated the travel documents and included his name in the e-ticket to gain entry into the terminal building.
Arif has been handed over to the local police and a case has been registered against him.
