Man gets ready for Alleged Third Marriage, Arrested
Mangaluru: The South police have arrested a 40-year-old man for attempting to marry for the third time on August 24.
The arrested has been identified as Ashok (40) from Karambettu, Jappinamogeru.
According to the complainant, Ashok had already married two women and is the father of a child. He had left both his wives and was getting ready to marry for the third time.
Ashok’s sisters were searching for a bride for their brother and had gone to Mulky in search of a bride. They had held talks with girl’s parents in Mulky and had fixed the engagement on August 24 and the marriage was scheduled to be held on August 26.
The bride’s parents got suspicious and began gathering some information about Ashok. While inquiring they came to know that Ashok was married twice and has a child from one of his marriage. He had left both his wives and was getting ready for the third marriage.
As soon as they got the information, family members of the bride went to the Women’s Police station and filed a complaint against Ashok.
Based on the complaint, the South police arrested Ashok and later he was handed over to Kankanady Town police.
