Man Held for sexual assault on Minor Girl in Kundapur
Kundapur: A person, who sexually assaulted a 13-year-old neighbour girl, was arrested by the Kundapur Town police on June 1.
The arrested has been identified as Vishwas, a resident of Chikkansal, Kundapur.
According to the Kundapur Police, the minor girl’s father filed a complaint in the police station. In his statement, he has stated that he was residing with his family at a rented house in Chikkansal, Kundapur. On May 31 night, all had gone to bed after dinner. On June 1, early morning when the girl screamed for help, her father switched on the lights and found the accused Vishwas trying to sexually assault the girl. Vishwas immediately fled from the spot. Later the girl’s father filed a complaint in the Kundapur Police station.
Based on the complaint, the Kundapur Police arrested Vishwas and have booked him under the POCSO Act.
