Man kills friend after drunken brawl in Pethri
Udupi: A drunken brawl between two friends ended in murder at Petri, Brahmavar Police Station limits on Wednesday March 1.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash Naik (38) resident of Kannar Pethri.
According to the police on Wednesday morning Prakash had come from Shivamogga. Later while they were having drinks and good time, a heated argument broke out between Prakash and Prashanth. In a fit of rage, Prashanth Naik assaulted and stabbed Prakash and fled from the spot. Seriously injured Prakash was rushed to a nearby hospital.
A case has been registered in the Brahmavar Police Station and investigation is on.
