Mangaluru: Latish Gatti (30), who lived in a relative’s house in Bhat-nagar near Thokkottu, had some family problems.
Unable to bear the stress any longer, he decided to get rid of the problems and jumped into the sea at the Someshwar beach.
He was rescued by local lifeguards Mohan and Ashok, counselled and sent home. His relatives pacified him and asked to have food. He wanted to have bath first.
However, Latish seemed to be firm in his decision. While having gone to the bathroom, he hanged himself from the roof.
