Udupi: From b-town to temple town fantasies come true, gold has always been a priority to women, but a man wearing gold weighing 2kg’s will mesmerize you.

Bappi Lahiri’s gold collection is always in talks, here is Louis from Mumbai wearing 2 kg’s of gold ornaments. Attur feast was at peak, festive mood toggled with divinity was prevailing everywhere but when Louis appeared at the Basilica premises on Friday wearing his mesmerizing gold ornaments he soon was the center of attraction.

He seems to be the only person who is roaming around with his collection of gold ornaments without having any fear of burglars and dacoits. A successful entrepreneur Louis operates a cable network in Mumbai, wearing gold is just a hobby says Louis. When it comes to his family his wife Suvarna and son Paul are not even interested in wearing gold.

Louis is in Attur from one week, having gathered information about Attur Church from television sources, he arrived to the Basilica with his wife and son on Friday and offered prayers. Selfies have become part of our life, soon people surrounded Louis and captured selfies with him.

Interacting with Mangalorean.com Louis said that the hobby of wearing gold has been in practice from 20 years. The gold collection is registered under law, my family is not interested in wearing gold and I don’t force them, it is their wish. The visit to St Lawrence Basilica has brought immense pleasure to our family and will continue to visithe Basilica every year, he added.
