Mangalorean Amoghavarsha Bhat ‘Suno1024 Junior Superstar’ Runner-Up
UAE: Amoghavarsha Bhat of Grade 5 ‘K’, has won the Runner-up Award at the Grand Finale of the music reality show ‘Suno1024 Junior Superstar’ held at Global Indian International School Dubai Al Barsha Campus on Friday 11th March 2018.
Thousands of kids from all over UAE had auditioned for this prestigious competition held by the popular UAE Radio channel SUNO1024 FM.
There were multiple rounds of auditions, wherein initially an audio clip of contestant had to be sent. In the next round of audition was held in the office of SUNO1024, wherein 22 kids were shortlisted.
For the semifinals, songs of the contestants were recorded at the studio of Suno1024 and were published on social media and on radio as well. Judges then shortlisted the top 10 finalists, including Amogha for the finals. A notable thing here is, Mangalorean Amogha is the only boy who made it to the finalists.
Eminent persons such as Bollywood singer Divya Kumar, UAE celebrity judges Mitun De Sarkar, Jogiraj Sikidar and Nishita Charles were juries of ‘Suno1024 Junior Superstar’ final event and Mangalorean Amogha’s performance at the event earned rave reviews.
