Cyrus Wong now a young man all of 18 years, started dancing at the tender age of three under the guidance of the renowned Mangalore Excellent Dance Academy at Kunil Complex. He excelled in being the best student and gained popularity and recognition. He saw his talent being supported strongly by his able parents, especially his mother Rosy Wong and his guru Sandesh Jhanvi who saw his potential and pushed him to take part in the national level Indian dancing talent shows.

The first step to stardom started with his tryst with Boogie Woogie on Sony TV where he ended up being a finalist. Not letting himself go down, he went back to his hometown Mangalore and practised harder and went on to take part in another Dancing Reality show on Colors TV Chak Dhoom Dhoom and he gained the Top 5 spot.

Juggling with his passion for dance and getting through his schooling at St Theresa’s School Mangalore, he then went to Melbourne, Australia to pursue his higher studies. There, he continued to dance and gain further recognition participating in the popular IFFM 2016 Telstra Bollywood Dance Competition where Bollywood Celebrities such as Malaika Arora and Richa Chadda were the judges of the show.

Cyrus not only stole everyone’s hearts but went on to win the first prize as well. Cyrus continues to dance and teach dance to students and everyone alike giving the taste of what Bollywood dancing is all about in Melbourne Australia. We wish Cyrus success in all his endeavours and may he continue to keep making his country India, hometown Mangalore and his dance academy Mangalore Excellent Dance Academy of which he is still very closely associated proud as always.
