Mangaluru: Yet another proud moment for Mangalorean that a Son of Kudla Soil, Nishan Sashidhar has entered into the Asia Book of Records; and also India Book of Records by interviewing 101 doctors and covering 100 topics in 10 hours. This is the lengthiest Facebook video live discussion on health in a social media platform in the world. This event was organized by Manipal Hospitals Bangalore on July 20th 2017 with an intention to create awareness about the symptoms related to various chronic diseases like Heart attacks, Liver transplant, High Blood pressure etc.
Nishan who is currently working as Product Manager in Marketing division of Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru addressing the media persons during a press meet at Mangalore Press Club said, ” I regularly host Manipal Hospital Bengaluru’s “Health Vibes “ a health awareness Facebook live chat show, and until now already completed more than 35 episodes with 2 million views on Manipal Hospital Bengaluru Facebook Page. On the event day we had nearly 8 lakhs viewers. I planned for this event at the Hospital with an intention to create awareness about various health disorders and the symptoms related to it, because in the present days knowing the symptoms and consulting the Doctor at the rite time can save many lives”
Nishan is a mechanical engineer with MBA in Marketing. He has done his MBA from SDM college of Management Mangalore -wherein he also set a record at his institution for bagging the most number of BEST CEO/ manager trophy at several all-India management fests held in various states. He has completed his mechanical engineering from Srinivas Institute of Technology-Mangaluru .He is also a Motivational Speaker & free-lance personality development trainer and has trained more than 5000 students and various aspiring models for prestigious pageant shows. For his speaking and personality development talents, he owes the credit to his brother Dr Nithin, who had trained him in these two talents.
