Mangalorean PI Sachin Lawrence honoured with CM’s Gold Medal
Mangaluru: City Armed Reserve Police Inspector Sachin Lawerence was honored with Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for the remarkable work done in Anti Naxal Force and City Armed Reserve police on 2nd of April 2016.
He Joined as a police constable in September 2002. Later on, he was selected for the Reserve Sub Inspectors post in 2008. After completion of Basic Training at Police Training College, Gulbarga he served in Chikkamagaluru and Uttara Kannada District. In June 2015 he was Promoted as Reserve Police Inspector and transferred to Mangaluru. While working in Uttara Kannada District he has undergone 3 month’s Commando Course at the Centre for Counter-Terrorism, Kudlu, Bengaluru.
He was able to achieve this in his short period of service because of the love and care of his wife Divya and adequate support from his Commissioner Chandrasekhar, IPS, He has a loving kid named Jeeval who entertains him in his leisure time.
He has done his schooling at Rosario high school, Mangalore. Later on, he Joined St. Aloysius College for PUC and degree course. He has completed his Masters degree in Karnataka State Open University. During his schooldays and College days, he was in the NCC.
He has completed A,B,C certificates in NCC Naval Wing. He was the Cadet Captain in Senior Division NCC.
