According to the locals, the dolphin is still alive and they have been trying to put it back into the sea. It is suspected that the dolphin may have been injured or may have consumed something carried into the sea due to heavy rains. Locals say that toxic materials from industries discharged into the sea may have caused harm to the dolphin.
The dolphin is 1.5 -metre long and attempts are on to put it back into the sea.
