Mangaluru: A man was found bound in a rickshaw near Mangalajyoti at Vamanjoor here, on August 21.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh (28), a resident of Kavoor.
According to the police, the driver was found bound to the frame of the roof of the autorickshaw with a rope secured around his neck in the early hours of Friday.
The police suspect this to be a case of murder. The reason of the act is yet to be ascertained. Further investigations will reveal the exact cause of the death.
A case has been registered in the Kankanady Rural Police Station.
