Mangaluru: The Dept of Medicine A J Institute of Medical Sciences conducted a intra college 4th Annual “Mediquiz – 2015” contest for the under Graduate Students at their conference hall on September 12.
Dean of the college Dr Ramesh Pai graced the occation as chief guest, in his address he advocated the under graduate & post graduate students to attend the C.M.E Programme held in their college in regular intervals to keep abreast with the latest trends and developments in the medical field and also to enhance their medical knowledge to be successful in their profession. He later congratulated all the 8 teams qualified for the final round and awarded prizes, merit certificates to the winning team Vanni and Hirimayi and runners up team Rashmi and Deepali Shetty and Congratulated on their achievements.
Professor Dept of general medicine Dr Devdas Rai was the quiz, master, he informd that the inter college medical quiz will be conducted in October – 2015.
HOD general medicine Dr E V S Maben was a guest of honour.
22 teams from the college contested in the preliminary round and 8 teams qualified for the final round Dr Aksata Rai was the scorer. Dr Abhishek Krishna, Dr Chandni Bandary Assisted Dr Rai in the competition. Dr Rathi welcomed Dr Soundarya delivered the vote of thanks.
