Mangaluru: The NSUI elections were held in D K district congress office under the supervision of NSUI election commission on February 24.
Ashith G Pereira, from SDM LAW College was elected as the president of District NSUI.
The new office bearers of District NSUI are, President Ashith G Pereira, Vice-Presidents AshfaqIbrahim, Manmohana Jois, Shiny and Anvita Pereira. General Secretaries Pritvi Salian, Irshad N G,Rizwan and Deeksha. Secretaries Akarsh Bangera, Oswin D’Souza, Savaad Gunadka and Rashmi.
More than 2500 students from various colleges across D K district cast their votes which is a record in the history of district Congress.
District Minister In-charge B Ramanath Rai, MLC Ivan D’Souza and other Congress leaders congratulated the newly elected members on the occasion.
