Mangaluru: A complaint has been filed by Suresh Bhat Bakrabail, president of the district unit of Karnatak Komu Sauharda Vedike (KKSV), against Sadhvi Balika Saraswati of Madhya Pradesh, for her allegedly provocative speech delivered on the occasion of the Virat Hindu Samajotsava on Nehru maidan in the city on Mar 1.
She had reportedly gave a call to the Hindu to slit the throats of Muslim men casting evil eye on the community’s women and thrash those who raised pro-Pakistan slogans with with footwear.
Such utterances would provoke communal disturbances, the complaint has stated. Hence the complainant has sought legal proceedings against the speaker.
The Pandeshwar police have registered a case.
