Mangaluru: Derik’s Chess School prodigy Nidhi Shenoy studying in St Theresa’s School, has won the Karnataka State under 13 Girls Chess Championship held from 20th to 23rd April at Bengaluru.
The Chess Championship was organized by Bengaluru Rural District Chess Association on behalf of the United Karnataka Chess Association.
Third Seeded Nidhi Shenoy won the Championship by scoring 8 points in the 9 round Swiss league Championship.
She will represent Karnataka in the upcoming National under 13 Girls Chess Championship to be held at Gurgaon, Haryana in August.
