Mangaluru: Dr M Veerappa Moily, former Chief Minister of Karnataka and former Union Minister has graciously consented to inaugurate the dream project and the most prestigious one undertaken by Land Trades ‘Maurishka Palace’ on May 29, said the owner of Land Trades Srinath Hebbar in a press meet held at Hotel Deepa Comforts, here on May 26.
Hebbar further said, “This is my dream project and one of the most prestigious projects undertaken by Land Trades. The project features various facilities, including utilising recycled water for gardens and toilets. Quality and timely completion are the hallmarks of this landmark project”.
“The cost of the project is approximately Rs 250 crore. Other than 30-35 flats, all the rest have been sold out. The average cost of the flats are around Rs 60-75 lakh for a 2BHK and Rs 95-110 lakh for a 3BHK. The apartments feature beautiful lighting and ventilation facilities with good landscaping and a club house area with facilities like gym, indoor games, jogging track, etc.”
“Kadri Kambla has good water facilities. Most of the water for the city is supplied from here. There is no problem related to water in this area. We have two borewells and a well for water supply to the apartments. There is also a sewage treatment plant to recycle the water and use it for gardens and to flush the toilets. Extra pumps have also been installed If there is a problem in any of the pumps.”

The inauguration will be held at 6.00 pm at Kadri Kambla by Dr Veerappa Moily. The Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology and DK District Minister in-Charge B Ramanatha Rai will inaugurate the ‘Club House’, Chairman and Managing Director of Janata Construction Co. Ramesh Kumar will inaugurate ‘Block A’ and Chancellor of Yenepoya University, Mangalore Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, will inaugurate ‘Block B’ of the project.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateelu, MLA J R Lobo and corporator Ashok Kumar D K will be the Guests of Honour and Mayor of Mangalore City Corporation Jacintha Alfred will preside over the function.
