Mangaluru: Kiran and Udaya of Ballal Bagh may have intended to pile up a huge fortune by operating betting on IPC cricket match results. They could not have selected any better car than a Fortuner, Toyota’s high-end utility vehicle.
Sitting in such an expensive car and making use of the Internet in the same Ballal Bagh locality, they operated their ‘mobile’ betting den and were trying to loot others’ fortune.
The police from Barke got a tip-off and raided the spot. They arrested the duo and seized the car. Rs 53,700 in cash and two mobiles have also been seized from them.
